The general assembly consists of two boards made up of the collective management organisations of authors (Board of Authors) and the collective management organisations of publishers (Board of Publishers).

The Boards distribute the remunerations collected by Reprobel. The Board of Authors encompasses the Belgian collective management organisations for authors (Assucopie, Jam, Sabam, Sacd, Scam, Sofam and Vewa), whilst the Board of Publishers encompasses the Belgian collective management organisations for publishers (Copiebel, Copiepresse, Librius, Reprocopy, Repro PP, Repropress, Sabam and Semu). The Boards are also a forum for debate and the exchange of information, as well as reflection and development of common positions on topics of relevance to the authors or publishers.

The composition of the Board of Directors reflects the equality between authors and publishers in the management of the society.
